Climate:

Charlotte | Lake Norman NC has a wonderful subtropical climate with moderate winter temperatures, maybe two or three snow days, enough to bring out the child in you. This Piedmont region has the most most beautiful Fall season, with the trees shedding their leaves in beautiful colors of burgundy, reds, orange, yellows and browns. The reflections of the trees off the lakes around this area are so enchanting. The Summer daytime temperatures can be really hot and humid, but if you are indoors or in the pool during the hottest part of the day, it's really easy to cope. The warm, balmy evenings are always magic in the Summer with fireflies and chirping cicadas.  Spring and Fall it's easy to plan a cook out or picnic and be sure the weather is perfect for the occasion. Rainfall is spread fairly evenly through out the year.  Most people in this area appreciate the mild climate combined with the change of seasons.

Education:

North Carolina boasts some of the top schools, colleges and universities in the Country.  Many families relocate to this region for this reason alone. Lifestyle:
The Charlotte | Lake Norman area offers the most incredible lifestyle. If you enjoy water sports, camping, walking and fishing, then Lake Norman and Lake Wylie are a quick 25 minute commute from the City of Charlotte. Jetton Park in Cornelius has wonderful setup walking pathways and its a wonderful way to expend energy with your 4 legged friends. There are many, many more parks, recreation and play parks in and around the area.  The restaurant scene in this area is also booming with hip, urban fare and good ole Southern staples.  With all the local Museums, Parks, Gardens, Fairground events, local festivals and community events, there is always something to do.

Things to Do:
If you enjoy the arts then you will love the Charlotte | Lake Norman area. There are many museums and art galleries, theaters, writing studios, quirky book shops and superb performing arts theaters. The area lends itself to a great cultural history experiences and it's all wrapped together in this vibrant bustling City. If you enjoy dining, then eat at restaurants boasting cuisine to suit every palate. There are sports stadiums with every conceivable sport being played. With the many universities and international companies in the area, the local population is diverse and ever changing.  Whichever neighborhood you choose to live in, you will soon find a common denominator and friendships will be formed. If you open your door, people will pour into your home and your heart and if your door is closed, you have your privacy. Whichever you choose, you will find those people here.
